Morning time savers for your crazy lyf
*Hits snooze button*.
I’m that *fashionably late* friend you tell to be somewhere at 7am when you actually mean 8… I’ll still probably get there after you, not because I want you to arrive first, get us a table and have the waiter ready when I swoop in or anything (WHO, ME?), but because I live on Carmen time (perhaps I’d be early if I lived in Fiji?).
‘Be on time’ is one of my new year’s resolutions – every year. But punctuality has never been my forté (incase you were wondering, I’m much better at limbo and lip syncing ‘Juicy’ by The Notorious B.I.G).
But running late is stressful, especially when the universe decides to work against you (cue coffee down white shirt, no parks, Google maps wigging out and then your best friend from primary school turns-up when they’ve been MIA for 10 years). I know, because I’ve been there, and not a single life efficiency-focussed Podcast has managed to curb this habit.
What does help, is cutting corners. ‘Work smarter not harder’ can apply to your morning routine too, you just need to equip yourself with the right tools.
Below is an edit of everything you need to steal-back the minutes of your life you’ve spent faffing.
