Ahoy, good people of the internet! Today we come bearing great news for those who log onto the world wide web over here in the Southern Hemisphere. Drum roll, please…
Calvin Klein, aka the makers of the best ever denim and the coolest campaigns, just launched their online store in Australia and excuuuuse my fingers while they frantically open up a million different tabs, scoping all the things I wanna buy. Which, FYI, is a lot. It’s as if they peeped into our brains and realised we wanted more 90s-inspired basics, and then curated a store that satisfies that exact want/need.
With the help of my fellow COH’ers, I whittled the list of must-buy items down to 8, which are categorised in no order of importance for you below. Don’t thank me, thank the CK gods.
But why are you still here? It’s time to shop like it’s 1995…
According to Carmen, it’s the year of the Baywatch one-piece, and if you agree, then you’re gonna need to add this Square Scoop one in Red to your shopping basket stat. If vintage Pammy Anderson isn’t really your vibe, then Cheeky Scooped One-Piece in Black is the perf option for a refined-yet-sultry summer look with its flattering, 90s high-cut silhouette.
First thing is first: jeans. Our team went on a lil’ expedition to the Calvin Klein store in Sydney’s CBD recently, and we all emerged with the same pair of 90s-inspired jeans (so cute, so Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants, right?). Once you try for yourself, you’ll know why. Oh, they were the Straight Leg Mid-Rise Jeans, PS. If you’re done with denim, then let this fiery red Vinyl Skirt be the one to take care of your legs.
Also, if it’s wrong to love this Slim Logo T-Shirt in baby blue as much as I do, then I don’t wanna be right.
ICYMI, the humble 90s hobo bag is all the rage this season, and this Calvin Klein one is our pick of the lot. It’s the perfect size (not too big, not too small), and is on-trend but minimalist and sleek enough to ensure it’ll stand the test of time. Also, this Zip-Around Wallet in Blue is the only vessel I’ll be trusting my dollar bills with from henceforth, in case u were wondering.
And, of course, no trip to the brand spankin’ new online store is complete without some of your favey lingerie. I’m a certified creature of comfort, and can’t go past the classic Monogram Logo Unlined Bralette and Bikini (so Carrie Bradshaw). Because nothing is sxc’r than being comfy in your skin.
