How To Actually Feel Happy & Beautiful
18 tips to help us remember we got the power.
2018 was filled with highs, lows and everything in-between and my only resolution this year is to master how to be beautiful (inside & out!).
Some mornings I woke up feeling gross/sad/sick, but this year I learned that if I am having a bad day, there is usually something good around the corner. You have to experience a low to be able to measure the high, right?
So, when it comes to fighting anxiety and improving our mood, we need to prepare for battle and fill our day with things that makes us feel good.
And never forget that you’re not alone and everyone (I mean EVERYONE) has bad days.
It’s in our physiological makeup to feel anxious. It’s our brain and body’s way of protecting us e.g. if you do something cringe it’ll keep replaying in your head (like the worst song ever) to remind you not to do it again.
The good news is, we all have the power and the right to be strong, confident and independent but we must remember to keep it real. The most inspiring people handle everything with grace.
Putting ‘being nice is cool’ on your Instagram bio might be a start but it isn’t really enough – with so much going on around us it’s easy to forget the basics like actually being kind to ourselves and each other.
It’s 2019 and time to take control/gain some self-respect because this is the ticket to being a happier, kinder and an all round better human.
