The 9 Things We’re Wearing On Repeat (And Think You Would Too)
These clothes were born to be worn.
I’m a compulsive online shopper, which means I’m usually broke (one word: Afterpay).
Despite this, I’ve realised I wear the same 20% of my wardrobe on rotation (and I’m not going to die alone).
Basically, Carrie Bradshaw was wrong, and putting your money in your wardrobe where you can ‘see’ it isn’t always a great investment plan. E.g. my $300 dollar jacket has only been out twice (someone show it a good time PLS), which means the cost per wear so far is $150. But my tees and jeans worn twice a week end up costing next to nada #wardrobenomics.
‘Comfort’ is the key to making good purchases – if you feel uncomfortable (for whatever reason) you’ll never wear it. This isn’t a free pass to live in yoga pants, yo. A designer logo t-shirt like Carmen’s (featured below) is easy but elevated, and it will only get better with age.
I also love jumpsuits and overalls because you can layer other pieces under them (like a collared shirt or plain white tee). Knowing how to wear and re-wear different pieces you own is the secret to great style
