If there’s one new shoe you need now, this is it.

My love for great sneakers is nothing new.
It all started with these black and white Nike Free Runs. They’re my staple shoe. They make everything look 10 x better and life is 10 x more comfortable. And I’ve always believed that if you’re onto a good thing, then stick to it.
These pale grey Nike Roshe Runs are my latest obsession. They go with pretty much everything, and make all-black outfits way more exciting.
And unlike tights worn as pants, wearing sneakers outside the gym is totally socially acceptable – Chanel and Dior say so.
These are pretty hard to come by, but don’t worry… I’ve done all the searching for you. There’s still a few left here, herehere and here.
Here’s some others to kick-start your sneaker shopping. Enjoy x

  1. I don't disagree with the post above, however there does seem to be a trend in fashion that is pretty strict about sticking to the B&W Nike Free Runs or the gray ones you are showing off above. Both great sneakers but everyone's doing it, and I feel that it's easy to forget that there are other great classic B&W/monochromatic sneakers out there: Vans Classic, Converse, Nike Internationalist series for a vintage vibe, even Nike SB Dunks for a more hip-hop flair. Also a boutique brand called Gourmet Footwear does some pretty cool and comfortable sneaks.
Sneakers are very versatile but I feel like every woman in NYC is wearing those B&W Nike Free Runs and I think there could be a little more diversity out there. In no way to knock your advice, just wanted to put in my two cents on sneaker variety as a big sneaker fan. 😉
